{random victories}

After nearly 4 hours (an hour a couple weeks ago, 1.5 last night and 1.5 this morning), I have finally organized all of my photos from 2009. It's insane how many there are. I mean, crazy insane. I am so super excited to have this task done. Next step is to burn them onto DVDs for back up storage. Which got me to thinking...I think I need an additional form of backup. What if the DVD goes bad? What if it gets scratched or something happens to otherwise destroy it? So I looked around and I think I'm going to go with www.scrapbookpictures.com. They will store photos online for free, as many as you want, as long as you place 1 order per year. How simple is that?! It will probably take me a month to get everything loaded there, but I will feel much better once it's done. I've heard good things about this website, has anyone else used them?

For the first time ever, I feel strong.
Byron & I have been going to the gym at least 3 days a week for the past 2 months or so. On my first visit, there were 2 machines that I couldn't do. Just could not do them, with zero weight even. A couple weeks ago, just for laughs, I got on them again...and they were simple. I was so proud of me in that moment. I wish I could say I've lost a lot of weight...and I guess I have (all the weight I gained while pregnant which was about 15 lbs, plus another 10 lbs) but it's slowed down so much lately that it's almost stopped. The good part though is that I must be turning fat into muscle now though, because my size is still getting smaller. I had bought a pair of jeans a few months before I got pregnant, thinking they would fit me soon since I had been losing weight, but they wouldn't even go past my knees. I tried them on last week, totally fit. It was such a good feeling that I didn't want to wear any other pair for the next week!

In typical me fashion, my brain just went blank. I know I had more to say, but it's gone now.

Lots of blogging to come soon though. Now that photos are organized, I have lots to share. And lots to scrap. Yes, I will actually scrap, soon. Byron is going to visit his dad in Ecuador, leaving next week and will be gone a little over 2 weeks...so scrapping is what will fill my days. Well, that and schooling Emma, more to come on that soon.
