{9 months}

You have officially been out of my belly for as long as you were in it.

At 9 months old:
You are a master crawler. Speed is your thing. Especially when a door that is usually shut opens. You zip towards the entry and get upset when the door shuts before you make it there.

You eat anything that is placed in front of you. We've moved on to finger foods...soft veggies, pieces of fruit & pasta. It's been especially nice to be able to feed you off of our plates when we eat out or away from home.

Your personality has been shining. You love to cuddle when you're tired and you are quick to let us know how you're feeling, good or bad. I often sit with you on the couch while watching PBS when you wake up in the morning. You sit with me for a few minutes, but once you're ready to go, you're ready to go NOW.

Night time always makes us laugh. You sleep like it's a full time job. Often on your stomach with your butt up in the air. Such a funny sight.

You cruise around the furniture like it's no one's business. You can stand without holding onto anything, usually for up to a full minute. Walking seems to be in our very near future.

You clap, but stop if we start clapping. You love baths and will sit in there splashing for as long as we allow you. You love the water in general and had a blast when we visited Aquatica. You even fell asleep in the lazy river.
