{art work}

I've decided that my child dosen't need toys to be happy. Give her a glue stick, some paper, markers & stickers & she's in heaven. Just like her mom. :)

She made this card for me for my birthday. She had me tell her how old I am & spell out the greeting for the inside. Some of the letters are messed up, but she's not too far off. ;)

This one started out as a pumpkin. Then it became her as a pumpkin. The N-n at the end of her name is something they are doing in school, writing capital & lowercase letters next to each other. I find pieces of paper all over the house with the alphabet wrote on it like this, but never tire of seeing them, love that she's learning so well.
Oh..in this one... she's wearing a belly shirt & has a belly ring. This led to a talk about how little girls should dress & act. Lord knows I don't walk around in belly shirt, so I don't know where she gets this from. Well, I do know, the bigger kids at daycare, but still, really trying to get it in her head how little girls should dress.

This one was done behind my back. My first thought was, all my buttons just got used. My second thought was, all my adhesive just got used. Turns out she had used her glue stick, so the sting was less than I feared. :)
Now, the brown line going down is a stick, the red & green buttons on it are a catapiller. The top right circle is cardstock covered in pink ink, it's the sun on Wednesday nights when it gets pink.
The star is a shooting star, which is why it's not even. The bottom right blue buttons are a ball for her new baby cousin, one of them fell off when I scanned it. The E & M are for her name, she said the A is hid in the star. The pink sun on Wednesdays...I love that kid.

She is such a cutie-pie! So wonderful you have this to hold on to forever! Quite the budding artist!
