It’s still sinking in that I actually LIVE here. I’m not visiting, I’m not going home on the weekend. This is home.
I went grocery shopping this afternoon. It’s not an easy task since I still have no gas in the house & can’t cook anything…. it’s all microwave, George Foreman grill & rice cooker for now. Not much longer, hopefully. That makes it feel a little more like home, having food in the fridge. Found a chinese take out place & picked up dinner….that really made it feel like home. Got home & got all excited about having my very first message on the answering machine….it was a sales call. Now, THAT makes it official. I live here.
And, I love it. I really do.
