Taking a break from the never ending cleaning to share this picture from this morning. Note the 'I'm too cool for school' pose. Emma's first project for school. They sent home a paper cut out & we needed to decorate it to look like her. I gave her my box of fiber to choose from for her hair and she picked out the fabric for her shirt & skirt. I drew the lines & she cut it out... She wanted to do her face with magazine cut outs, her idea. Gave her a mag & she went at it. Of course, she had to add hearts to everything. :)
See the hand? :( Stitches come out Friday. Glad they are coming out, but really scared of it too. A little scared of the pain she's going to be in during the process, which I know isn't much, but to a 5 year old it will be huge. Really scared that it hasn't healed right though. I have cleaned up her bandage, removed & added layers of gauze, but I haven't been down to the dressing, the Dr said he prefered that I didn't go that far. Which was really fine with me, don't want to see it. But still, not knowing what it looks like, just kinda scared.
